Maizzey's Art Hub

Hello, I'm Maizzey! I'm a twenty-something freelance digital artist & college student.I started doing art around 2011 because of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and I've been obsessed with doodling since! I still draw a lot of MLP content but I also dabble in other animals, anthros/furries, and humans too.Thank you for your interest in my work. Contact me with any questions <3

Terms of Service

Foreword

This is my terms of service. These are terms you agree to by commissioning my service. Even if you don't read this, all terms will apply. I strongly recommend all new commissioners read it before deciding whether or not you'd like to do business with me! If you have questions not addressed here, please get in contact with me.Thank you for your support.

Initial Contact & Ordering

1a. You may contact me any time for business inquiries at your convenience. If I have not responded to an inquiry after 3 days, you are encouraged to message me again.
1b. However, be respectful of my time. Messaging me several times within a 12 hour period will be considered spamming & you may be ignored or blocked.
2a. Provide all relevant information related to your inquiry within your initial contact/message to me. This includes information such as: type of commission you want, the character you want drawn by me, deadlines, etc.
2b. Failing to provide relevant information about why you're contacting me may cause your message to be ignored. Simply messaging "hey" reads as chit-chat - not a business inquiry - and I may ignore it because of this.
3a. I only speak English. Please let me know if you're relying on a translator or still learning English when contacting me. I tend to speak casually even around clients which can result in messages more difficult for you to translate. I will use proper English for better translation/readability upon request!

What I Need & Your Privacy

1a. Commission information - as in: images you share as character/pose/prop reference, text descriptions, and other aids you send me for your commission - are considered public information by default and are subject to being publicly shown on my Trello (to-do list/queue). If you do not want your commission information public, you must let me know when ordering from me.2a. Contact information - as in: the method in which you contacted me which, your social media links, etc - are considered public information by default and are subject to being publicly shown on my Trello (to-do list/queue) as well as art posts I made on social media. If you would like to remain anonymous on my Trello or in my posts, you must let me know when ordering from me.
2b. Email information is an exception to this rule. I will never publicly share or post an email address.
3a. Payment is conducted through PayPal via invoice. By commissioning me, it is assumed you have a PayPal account and are aware of their T.o.S. as well.
3b. Payment is upfront. I do not currently accept payment plans.

The Art Process

1a. All artwork goes through generally distinct, definitive stages: the sketch, lines, flats, shading, & finishing. Not all artwork will follow this exact pattern: sometimes steps are skipped, merged, or added in. However, this is the general "path" your commission will follow when it's being worked on by me.2a. I will send a work-in-progress image once I have made a sketch of your commission. You must approve this sketch before I continue working on the commission. If you desire any edits to my sketch, request them at this stage.
2b. If you do not reply to the work-in-progress image within 5 days, I will assume approval and continue.
3a. Your commission will take no longer than 3 months. Typically, I finish commissions within 1 month. However, the time limit maxes out at 3 months.

What You Get & What You Can Do

1a. At the end of our business: You will receive the desired artwork in the specified "quality" or "commission type". Once you receive your artwork, our business is over. Artwork will be delivered in as a PNG or GIF file, depending on which is applicable. Most artwork ranges in size from 5x5in canvases to 15x15in canvases. All finished artwork is digital and you will not receive a physical product.
1b. Artwork delivery is done via the most reliable method or the requested method. Depending on where I was contacted for your commission and any requests you ask of me, how I send you your finished artwork will vary. I may send it over a social media's direct messages, post it and enable downloads, etc. If you prefer a specific method, let me know.
2a. With your commission, you may... repost it, use it as a profile picture, resize it, get physical prints of it, etc. It's yours & I hope you enjoy it!
2b. Credit is appreciated. When reposting or using the art I did for you, linking back to me in some way is not mandatory but preferred.
2c. Editing my artwork is generally okay. Tweaking the eye-color of the character in your commission or similar edits are okay. Please always keep a version of the original.
3a. My art may be added to a "value log" if desired. For those who participate in selling & trading, I am fine with my commissions being added to a total. You may only consider my artwork's worth as exactly how much it was paid for - it may not be inflated.4a. In general, do not use my art in malicious or destructive ways. You may not use my art to make profits. If you're not sure if something you want to do with my art is okay, please contact me before doing it.

End of Business Results & Satisfaction

1a. Once you receive the commission result, our business is over. I am no longer responsible for the artwork and it is up to you to save it. I will not make further edits to the finished artwork unless commissioned again by you to do so.2a. Refunds are not guaranteed, but contact me if you want one. I will work with you.3a. PayPal offers you buyer protection. I will never scam anyone, but all of my clients have buyer protection through PayPal. If you ever need to dispute our business transaction, you may do so.4a. I do not currently maintain a blacklist, but I'm willing to do so.
